I had problem with my garage door opener from Genie. The phone of Al Parsons Electronics provided me representative from Genie. When I called the first time to Al Parsons they say that technician's visit will be free. Technician said that circuit board should be replaced and it is still under warranty; he said that replace this board will cast me 85+tax. When I received circuit board and call them again they say that I should pay for the first visit 85+tax! and the installation will cast me 85+tax.
The second time came another technician and said that his work should be free, it should be paid by Genie.
However, I received invoice for the first visit $95 and then for the second visit $235!

For this many was possible to install a new door opener!

Then Why I paid for the first visit? There technician spend about 15 min, but in invoice there is 1 h. The second spend about en hour, but it is written 2.5h.

Received great service on my garage door after the cables jumped off the pulleys three times. Purchased a new Chamberlain super quiet garage door opener at Al Parsons at a great price, and had no problems installing it myself.

Garage door opener stopped working. Next day service, knew the problem (stripped gears) right away and fixed right away. Also re-tensioned the springs and replaced a couple of hinges. All good until I used the door and one of the wheels was out of the track jamming the door. Took me 5 minutes to fix and everything else was great, but I was a little surprised. Have used Parsons for years and will continue to do so.
